2.9.26
Released 2 Nov 2026
Logquarry 2.9.26 runs your update-list and test commands on Windows 10 and 11, writes patch plans and shows every result as a card, so you review each step before it counts.

Vulnerability management is a repeating cycle for the systems you run. You list what you have, find known weaknesses in advisories, update lists and your own scanner reports, rank them by risk, fix them, verify the fix and record what was done. It never ends. A CVSS score from 0 to 10 is only one input into the ranking.
You ask Logquarry to draft a patch plan for 2 servers, a file server and a test server. The agent uses write_file to create patch-plan.txt with one row per server, its risk level and a maintenance window, and then edit_file adds the backup, verification and rollback rows. Expand the card to see the diff. Read it twice. In Ask first mode the agent pauses before each change, and in Plan only mode it writes the plan and runs nothing, so you can review the whole file first.
write_file patch-plan.txt → saved
edit_file patch-plan.txt → edited
read_file patch-plan.txt → 12 linesYour scanner exports a report, and Logquarry reads it with read_file and grep to list the CVE identifiers that apply to your servers. The agent then uses http_get and web_search to read the vendor advisory for each one, and write_file saves a draft remediation list. You decide the order. A CVSS score from 0 to 10 is only one input next to internet exposure, system importance and signs of active abuse. Review the draft in Ask first mode before anything changes.
read_file scanner-report.csv → read
grep CVE → matches
http_get vendor advisory → page
write_file remediation-list.txt → savedVulnerability remediation means applying the fix, and on a test copy of your server the agent can run your own update command in the Shell environment you chose, local Windows or SSH to your own Linux server. Ask first pauses before the change and shows a card. Shell shows the exit code. Exit 0 only says the command finished without an error, so you then check that the services start and let the agent search the logs with grep. Cron can run a prompt on a schedule you set, but changes still wait for your approval.
The last step of the vulnerability management life cycle is the report. Logquarry uses write_file to create report.txt with the 2 servers from the plan, the dates and the checks that passed, and list_dir shows the files in the working folder. Plan only mode writes a first draft and runs nothing. Running fewer packages versus patching faster is a trade-off you decide per server, and the report records which choice you made. Add the real results yourself. Review the file before you share it.
Logquarry 2.9.26 runs the tools itself instead of only suggesting commands, and each result appears in the chat as a card with the real output or diff. You read it.
| Typical chat assistant | Logquarry | |
|---|---|---|
| Runs commands | Suggests commands | Runs commands |
| Shows output | Summarizes output | Shows full output |
| Changes files | Shows diff text | Shows diff card |
| Approval | No approval step | Ask first pauses before changes |
Admins who look after their own servers use Logquarry to write inventories and patch plans and to run update-list commands in the environment they choose. Updating the host OS while containers are running is a risk, so you test the update on a copy and keep a backup before you touch production. Back up first.
Beginners learn the cycle by watching actual output. Start with one server. Logquarry runs a command, shows the output as a card and writes the next file, so you read how an inventory turns into a ranked list for the Windows systems you own. The interface has 13 languages.
Small teams use Logquarry to write one patch plan and review it together, so everyone sees what was patched, when and why. Patching workflows for small teams stay clear when one person approves each maintenance window and everyone reads the same plan. Name one approver.
Vulnerability management is a repeating cycle for the systems you run: list what you have, find known weaknesses, rank them by risk, fix them, verify the fix and record what was done. It is a routine, not a one-off project. Then you repeat it. Logquarry helps with the writing and the checking, and you make the decisions.
Yes, diligentcode.com is the official Logquarry website. Download the setup program from this site and compare its SHA-256 checksum with the published manifest, because the installer is not code-signed yet and SmartScreen may warn you. Send feedback for support. You find that button inside the app.
No, Logquarry has no scanner and no vulnerability database of its own. It works from the update lists, advisories and scanner reports that you provide, which it reads with read_file and grep, and it can run your own commands in Shell. It finds nothing by itself.
The ranking in risk based vulnerability management weighs more than the CVSS score, which runs from 0 to 10. Other factors are internet exposure, the importance of the system and its data, whether a fix exists and whether the vendor reports active abuse. You decide the final order.
The check is your own test command, run in Shell, with the real exit code shown in a card. Exit 0 only means the command finished without an error, so you also check that services start and read the logs with read_file and grep. Then record it.
Yes, if the server is your own. Logquarry runs on Windows, and its SSH environment lets the Shell run your update list command on the Linux server while you approve each change in Ask first mode. File tools still work in the chat's working folder on your PC. Test on a copy first.
The setup program is about 34 MB. The download button on this site gives you that file, while the portable single exe of about 25 MB exists but is not part of this download. Compare the SHA-256 value.
